Plain-language definitions of the vehicle classes, charges and services we refer to.
- Saloon
- A standard 4-door car seating up to 3-4 passengers with 2 large bags — the most economical vehicle class.
- Estate
- A 4-passenger car with extra boot space for up to 4 large suitcases — ideal when luggage exceeds a saloon’s capacity.
- Executive
- A premium business-class car (e.g. Mercedes E-Class) seating up to 3 passengers, with a higher standard of comfort and finish.
- MPV
- A multi-purpose people carrier seating up to 6 passengers with moderate luggage space.
- MPV-8
- An 8-seat people carrier (e.g. Mercedes V-Class) that fits a family of six plus eight large bags — the largest standard transfer vehicle before a minibus.
- Minibus-12
- A 12-seat minibus for larger groups, sports teams or multi-family travel, with generous luggage capacity.
- Meet & Greet
- A service where the driver waits inside the airport arrivals hall holding a name board, included at no extra charge — no taxi rank required.
- Flight Tracking
- Automatic monitoring of your flight so the pickup time adjusts to the actual landing time, with no extra charge for delays.
- Fixed Price
- A price agreed at the time of booking that does not change with traffic, time of day or demand — there is no meter and no surge pricing.
- ULEZ
- London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone. Where a journey passes through it, the ULEZ charge is included in the fixed quoted price.
- London Congestion Charge
- A daily charge for driving in central London during charging hours; where applicable it is included in the fixed quoted price.
- Heathrow Pick-Up Charge
- A fee levied by Heathrow Airport for vehicles collecting passengers, included transparently in the quoted fare.
- Pre-Cruise Transfer
- A private transfer between a London hotel or airport and a UK cruise port (Southampton, Dover, Tilbury or Harwich) timed around ship departure or arrival.
- Free Cancellation
- The ability to cancel a booking at no cost up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
